It's located on the passenger side of the engine - upper left side, underneath the alternator, next to the belt. It's unable to been seen with the eyes. You have to have long arms and small hands to reach it. Strong fingers are a plus for opening the black lid. I can't believe Chevy made this so hard to find. It helps (but not necessary) if you remove coolant reservoir two small nuts. This is the same for a 2005 Chevrolet Impala. There is little to no chance of putting fluid in the reservoir without the aid of a long funnel.

The fuse box is located upunder the driverside dash open the door then look right under the steering wheel and there it is!!
regular power steering fluid is all you need.

If the Impala is the same as my 2001 Monte Carlo with a 3.8 L engine, the resivoir is on the pass. side way down low in back of engine compartment. You need a bright light to see it and it is very hard to get at!
