The bleeder fitting on a RABS (Restricted Access Barrier System) valve is typically located on the valve body or near the actuator. It is designed to allow for the removal of trapped air or fluid during maintenance or operation. The exact position may vary depending on the specific model and manufacturer, so it's essential to consult the equipment's manual for precise details.
Rear Anti-lock Brake System
if all parts have been replaced and air entered system, make sure the rabs valve has been bled, also try bleeding the master cylander
Rabs dies (:
RABS stands for Rear Anti-Lock Brake System and is found on all Bronco models except for 93-96 models (they have ABS on all 4 wheel). An anti-skidding sensor on the rear axle sends information whether the rear wheels locks on braking or not to a Control Module which regulates the brake fluid pressure to the rear axle preventing the wheels to lock.
your vehicle has a RABS pump on the chassis rail on the right side about level with the front of the front door. having done the repairs u did, this rabs pump, must be bled before any other part of the brake system
i think he's a lobser
rabs can live in clean or dirty water

there is a thing called a RABS valve in your braking system. this is located on the inside of the chassis rail ,on the left side of vehicle about level with the front of the front door. this valve must be bled properly before the rest of the sytem is bled. there is a proper sequence to bleed this.the sequence can be found in a chiltons shop manuel ,or take it to a mechanic that knows what he is doing.
The brakes and rim will over heat to the point of a blow out of the tire if the release valve in the proportioning valve does not release when you release the brakes. There are 2 small valves in the PV one differentiates the braking power to the rear wheels. If it sticks when releasing the pedal, the shoes do not release causing an extremely dangerous situation. When this valve releases properly, the brake fluid returns to the master cylinder. If the fluid gets to hot it eventually does not have any compression value and your pedal will go to the floor. Check the fluid. If it is not completely clear, change it along with the proportioning valve. the PV has a bleeder on it. Check that it bleeds using a clear tube. Check the colour. If at all brown or black replace the PV along with all the brake fluid in all lines to all wheels. The cost of a PV is only about $100. Much cheaper than insurance with an add on for the accident or blown tire and brake job. Think maintenance and drive worry free. gman
To replace the RABS (Rear Anti-lock Brake System) sensor in a 1990 Ford Bronco, first, ensure the vehicle is safely lifted and secured. Locate the sensor, which is typically mounted on the rear axle or differential. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the mounting bolt to take out the old sensor. Install the new sensor by reversing the process, ensuring a tight fit and reconnecting the electrical connector.
Quote from Chilton book: " The module is located on the firewall just inboard of the master cylinder."
