If you mean where to add brake fluid, it would be in the brake master cylinder, usually located on the driver's side, near the firewall. You should be able to see a round plastic reservoir with a gray cap ... unscrew to add brake fluid.
To put brakes pads on a 1994 Honda Civic, you will need Bleed brake fluid.
DOT 3 brake fluid

Check your brake fluid level!
Per Honda Civic manual, at every 3 years independent of mileage !
The brake fluid for the entire system is added in the master cylinder container. The slave cylinder does not have its own reservoir.
It should be located under the hood, on the firewall, drivers side, near the brake fluid reseroir.
DOT 3 OR 4
I recommend you use only genuine Honda Brake Fluid DOT3 but you can use another brand as long as it is DOT3.
Brake fluid type is Dot 3. It should also say on the reservoir cap.
Oh honey, a 1997 Honda Civic uses good ol' DOT 3 brake fluid. Make sure you check that level regularly, we don't want you running on empty when it comes to stopping power. And please, don't even think about mixing different types of brake fluid - that's a recipe for disaster, darling.
