is located above the thermostat which is located behind the engine (follow the left side radiator water hose until it connects to the engine with 3 bolts .)to the left of the oil filter. To locate all this you will need to remove most os the plastic covers (engine cover, air filter casing etc )
I have a Grand Vitara 2.0td 2004. The ECT is under the alternator on the left side of the engine
The coolant temp sensor is the two wire sensor located near to where the upper radiator hose hooks to the engine.
the answer is (KISER) Or( KYSER) A Kompresser from mecedes they spell it with a K a kart Kia
ect sensor 1996 nissan pathfinder location?>
The error code P1116 on a 2004 Audi A4 typically indicates an issue with the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor or its circuit. This code suggests that the sensor is providing readings that are out of the expected range, which can affect engine performance and fuel efficiency. It's important to inspect the sensor, its wiring, and connectors for any damage or disconnections. If necessary, replacing the ECT sensor may resolve the issue.
IAT= intake are temperature sensor ECT= engine coolant temp. sensor
location of engine cooling fan sensor
The ECT or the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor is a switch. This switch is located on the bottom of the radiator in the 1996 Camry.
Trouble code P0128 means: ECT Sensor Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature
P2185 is ECT sensor high voltage detected. ECT stands for Engine coolant Temperature Sensor.
The Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor for the 2.3L engine is located between the two center ignition coils. The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor for the 3.0L engine is located in the intake manifold to the right of the thermostat housing. The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor for the 4.0L engine is located in the intake manifold behind the thermostat housing.
The ect stands for engine coolant temperature. It is the sensor that lets the computer know how warm the engine is.
