It depends on which type of engine you're referring to;
The VEGE serial number plate replaces the original engine number, and would normally be found in the same location as the original engine number. The plate will be silver in colour, with the VEGE logo, VEGE Code (part number, 4 digits), engine type, and six-digit serial number.
The myth is that it takes about 1000 miles of "babying" the new engine. Then change the engine oil again.

Vegetable, vegetarian, vegetate and vegetation are words. They begin with the letters VEGE.
Daikon
it is a fruit
There isn't one, but if you're referring to yourself you might say "I'm vege".
Use whatever the original cap was, probably 15 psi.
A machine shop that rebuilds engines has equipment to regrind the valves and valve seats.

It is not good for the engine if it is the original setup from the 1970's. Lead is needed for lubrication to the valves. A reconditioned engine can use unleaded fuel if the intake and exhaust valves and the seats are replaced.
