If the fuel pump relay is not working, check fuse #11 in the fuse panel inside the car first. It''s a blue 15 amp fuse. Its not listed as controlling the fuel pump relay, but it does.

The relay is on a bracket on the left side of the car, under the dash. It's above the fuse panel. There will probably be some yellow wires or tubes blocking access to it. I think they control the airbags so don't mess with them too much.

I took one bolt out of the bracket to let it down so I could get to it. There are two round relays and one square relay. Remember how it is mounted so you can put it back. It's difficult to work under there and taking the bracket down will make it easier.

This fuse does not control the power going to the fuel pump, but it does control power going to the fuel pump relay. It's on the control side of the relay that is supposed to actuate it when you turn the key. If the fuse #11 is blown, the relay will not work and the fuel pump won't run. I think the fuse is labeled as IGN E/C and SRS(airbags). On the diagram that's on the panel cover, it is marked in yellow(airbag color).

If you think you hear the relay pulling in when you turn the key, it might be the square relay (main relay) that you are hearing. The two round relays are interchangeable so you can swap them to see if that gets your fuel pump going, but check the fuse #11 first. It can save a lot of trouble and unnecessary work.
