open the drivers door, there is one there. another is under the back seat.
I have a 96 Aurora and there are 4 fuse blocks. I bet your 97 is similar.
Your Owners manual shows where they are and what fuses are in them.
There are 3 locations not just one. It depends on the fuse you are looking for. One under the hood, one on the side of the instrument panel, 2 under the rear seat.
But if you don't have the manual here are locations for my '96...
There is a fuse block located under the rear seat next to the battery. It is called the "rear compartment driver side fuse block". Includes Electronic Level Control Relay, Trunk release relay, fuel pump relay, driver door unlock relay, rear defogger relay (lower zone) rear defogger relay (upper zone), 3 spares, Direct accessory power--asseccory relay and about 5 open spots. To get the rear seat out, lift from the front bottom and pull away from the back rest. Take care with the seat belts, remember how they go back when you put the seat back in (reverse order) Lift the seat out of the car carefully.
Rear Compartment Passenger side Fuse Block: breaker -- powerwindow- sunroof, breaker- power seat, breaker--headlamps, HVAC blower motor, Power control module PASS-key11, ignition3, ignition1, ;rear defoger, Trunk and fuel door releases and trunk pull down, heated seat, electronig level control -instrument panel, Exterior lamps, Bose stereo (if so equiped), power door locks, interior lamps, hazard lamps-stoplamps, parking lamps, heated outside mirror, fuel door release, battery thermistor, instrument panel--power antenna,-temote CD changer-- radio chassis, instrument panel--remote accessory power module-Oil level indicator-ALDL, Electronic level control, fuel pump, rear defog 1, rear defog 2. and a few open.
Instrument Panel Fuse Block: Is located on the left side of the instrument panel. (open the driver door to see it) to open it, push the latch to the left, then pull, and the fuse block door will open. In there you find... Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (air bag), Injectors, anti-lock brake system, left exterior lamps, turn signal lamps, injectors again, climate controls - magnetic speed, right exterior lamps, chime (ignition1) memory set, Powertrain control module, Auxiliary power, interior lamps, shift sols, linear EGR, cruise control, perimeter lights, driver information center, converter oxygen sensors, radio, windshield wipers, TMNSS, cigarette lighter, crank, air bag module, climate control blower. and about 3 open.
Engine Compartment Fuse Block: Air conditioning center, horn, fog lamp2, cooling fan 2, cooling fan 3, cooling fan, ABS main, ABS pump motor, fog lamp, horn, flash to pass, a few open.
The fuse titles I indicated are in order from top left to right to the bottom like reading a book. Count the open ones as you go since they are not included. The fuses themselves also indicate what they are.
I hope this helps you.
Probably in the fuse box located underneath your hood.
it is by your left knee. i don't recall the fuse number.
there are two under the back seat....and one on the drivers door dash side...
under rear seat
On my 97 it is under the rear seat.
The fan relay for 95 for 95 olds Aurora is usually in the engine mounted fuse box. This will mainly be used in regulation of the engine temperature.Ê
I have a 97 olds aurora. It gets 19-23 mpg on a good day, but depending how you drive it can get as low as 16 mpg average.

The battery is under the back seat.
It doesn't have one.
It is located underneath the dashboard right behind the center console.
In a 1997 Oldsmobile 88, the fuse box is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side. You can find it near the steering column, often covered by a panel that can be removed for access. Additionally, there is another fuse box located in the engine compartment, near the battery. Always refer to the owner's manual for the exact location and diagram.
