There isn't one!! This is funny because I just took my car to the shop today just because the information center in my 2006 Malibu 3.5 kept saying "Power Steering". There was no information along with this message so i had no clue what to do about it. i took the front right tire off, as i was told to do by a autozone tech, and jacked the car up. still no power steering reservoir.... when i told the mechanic this, this morning, he laughed and said that it was an electric steering system which runs off the alternator. there is no fluid because it is electric rather than hydraulic.
if your car is displaying that message too, good luck. the mechanic could not find any reason that my car was displaying that.
my car steered perfect, even when the message came on.
There is not one. They have gone to electric>
There isn't one. It has electric power steering.
The steering assist is electronic not hydraulic, therefore there is not a dipstick nor reservoir for power steering.
The 1993 Chevrolet Astro Van power steering reservoir can be found on the back side of the engine. The power steering reservoir will be between the engine and the firewall.
u cannot , it has no power steering pump, electric steering assisted
You need to get a long hose funnel and insert in power steering fill.
There is a picture that looks similar to a steering wheel on the reservoir cover.
, . Sorry nope. . it is an electric assist power steering system. . no fluid. . .
The standard 2006 Malibu has Electric Power Steering Assist. There is no reservoir. Power Steering function is accomplished by an electric motor attched to the lower steering column. The Malbu Maxx SS 3.9 liter does use hydralic steering. It's reservoir is located in the engine compartment and clearly marked.
Just regular power steering fluid. NO automatic transmission fluid.
There shouldn't be one. In 2004 Chevy went with electronic motor assisted steering.
Lower left front side of engine.
