Two speed sensors on a 1999 rx300 .One is located under air filter box, remove air filter box and sensor in located there, the other sensor in at a 45 degree angle on the transmission just behind the battery, remove the battery and tray to get better access. The sensors have the same part number and are the same.
200 km/h
Look -- down behind the battery Has 1 bolt in it, and wires connected to it, here a pic of one
Yes, the speed sensor operates the speedometer on a 1992 Subaru SVX. The speed sensor detects the vehicle's speed and sends this information to the engine control module (ECM), which processes the data and relays it to the speedometer for display. If the speed sensor fails, the speedometer may not function properly.
If you are referring to the sensor for the speedometer and the computer it is a 3 wire plug located on the tailshaft of the transmission
Speed sensor
There is no speedometer cable. MPH is calibrated using a speed sensor. If your speedometer is not working, you have a bad speed sensor module.
The speed sensor is located in the speedometer assembly, at the back of where the speedometer needle connects.

It has a Speed sensor.
The transmission computer takes the output speed sensor signal and sends it to the cluster for the speedometer reading.
