There isn't one. You have to remove the fill plug and check to see if the fluid comes to the bottom of the fill plug opening.
Get under the truck. On the left side of the transmission, there's a plug.. you insert a 1/2" drive ratchet into that plug to remove it. Once it's removed, you stick your finger into it.. the fluid should come to the bottom of the plug hole.
Check the transmission dipstick, it is written on the stick what fluid to use.

Under the car on the upper side of the transmission you will find a plug. Remove the plug and stick you finger in the hole. If you feel fluid, then it is full.
there is no way to check the tranny fluid in a automatic 2000 Vette..GM didnt put a dip stick on this tranny..
pour it down the transmission dip stick tube , use a long skinny funnel to do this.
The only place I have found to add Transmission fluid is the dip stick for the transmission. on my 2000 it is located on the drivers side of the engine and has an orange handle. When you remove it the dipstick has the correct transmission fluid that you need to use stamped on it.
