In the Power Steering reservoir (same place where you checked the level). If you face the engine, look on far left side near the windshield wiper for passenger side. Dipstick should be short plastic stick with words Hot and Cool on it. Add fluid same hole as dipstick goes into. Do not overfill.
plain old power steering fluid is the recommended type
The fluid could be leaking from the pump, hoses, or steering rack. Wash the steering system, then you can see where the leak is coming from.
In the trunk. The power steering fluid reservoir should instead be filled with Mopar ATF+3 or equivalent meeting the +3 standard.

To replace the power steering pump on a 1995 Chrysler LeBaron, first, disconnect the battery and remove the serpentine belt. Next, drain the power steering fluid and detach the hoses from the pump. Its at the back and below the engine.. to fill it pull the dipstick marked POWER STEERING which is at the back of the engine to the left of the airfilter box.. and add fluid to the level marks on the dipstick
You can use Dextron II or Dextron III automatic transmission fluid. You could go to an auto parts store and get a container of power steering fluid but all it is is a Dextron trans fluid in a dif container.
How about in the power steering pump.......
near the power steering fluid holder.. its a round discy lookin thing with a couple of pipes attached to it..
It is the rear most belt.
Just about any Automatic transmission fluid or Power steering fluid will work correctly. In 1995 Power steering fluid was specified. But from new we ignored that.
