same as an American car
clutch brake accelerator
In European cars, the gas pedal is positioned on the right side.
The pedal on the left side of the car is the clutch pedal.
The pedal located on the left side of a standard car's footwell is the clutch pedal.
Hi, i guess you were meaning "clutch". The clutch pedal in a manual car is situated on the left-side of the break pedal. It is pressed down when shifting gears.
the pedal is still the same in foreign vehicles
European foot controls are identical to North American foot controls except for the British Isles, which drive on the "wrong" side of the road. Foot controls are the same, in GB, with the accellerator furthest right, brake next then the clutch, for vehicles that use a stick shift. +++ OI! It's not the "wrong" side to us, in the UK and Eire! The control layouts are the same, but on the other side of the car.
In a car with manual gearbox, the brake pedal is usually in the middle. In my first car, the accelerator was in the middle, which caused a few 'interesting' moments! In American cars with automatic transmission, the brake is on the left and the accelerator on the right. On a standard transmission (stick-shift), the brake is in the middle, with the clutch on the left and accelerator on the right.
It should be mounted to the firewall on the other side of the clutch pedal.
In a right handed vehicle the clutch is located at the left hand side. From left to right;;;;first pedal at left is clutch and second is foot break and the right leg pedal is the accelerator. In case of left handed vehicle they are in the same relative locations; accelerator on the right, brake in the middle, clutch on the left. Of course the vehicle will only have a clutch peddle if it is a standard shift.
Look on the engine side of the firewall in front of the clutch pedal. You should see the reservoir there.
Directly behind the clutch pedal lever in the passanger compartment on the drivers side. Just like the brake light switch which is behind the brake pedal lever.
driver's side dash. between the hood release and the clutch pedal
