If you're in a desperate situation, you can use them as an emergency brake, but if you're grossing out at 80k and going down Vale Pass, all you're going to accomplish is to burn up your brakes and possibly cause your truck to catch fire... best to just hit the runaway ramp at that point.

On my 1996 suburu there is a switch on the top of the steering wheel/column that is a toggle for the parking lights on/off. I accidentally hit it one day while cleaning my car and it took me hours to figure out how to turn the parking lights off...oops that lil switch i never touch got bumped and i didnt realize it.
