CCA is a discharge for thirty seconds at the rated CCA in Amps normally done in a laboratory at -18 Deg C after a minimum duration of 16 hours in freezer with the battery condition charged at 100% prior to placing in the freezer.
This is not practical in a service centre but portable discharge-units are available which can load the battery at half the CCA rate for 15 seconds without too much heat being generated giving a useful load voltage result >9.6 Volts
You can take it to a battery place and they can test it under a load.
Battery load test
Have a shop load test the battery.
Have it load tested by a shop, most parts stores will load test your battery and alternator for free.
You will increase the amp load on the battery.

load test
load test
Test the voltage of the battery. if the voltage is below the rating of a new battery (For a CR203 it would be 3.6 volts) it is defective.
by using the universal testing machine, you can get the actual max load needed to fracture the hollow block and by using the formula, Compressive strength =load(lb)/Areaofcrosssection(in2) u can get the psi rating..
If it only needs to be charged with a battery charger to bring it back to specified voltage and then holds the required load amp rating by testing it with a carbon pile can you restore a low battery. Nothing else can be done to it if this fails the test except recycle it and go buy a new one.
If you don't have a battery load tester, you'll have to use a digital multimeter to test for voltage and amperage.
