An AC system may produce a grinding noise when you press on the gas due to a worn or damaged compressor. This could be caused by low refrigerant levels, a failing bearing, or debris trapped in the system. Additionally, if the compressor is overworking due to excessive heat or a faulty component, it may create unusual sounds. It's advisable to have a professional inspect the system to diagnose and resolve the issue.
This be a wide range of things does it make the noise when the vehicle is in park and you rev up the engine ? It could be a heat shield on the exhaust system. it does not make the noise if it is just idling....but if you press the gas it makes a noise and when ur driving it makes noise. But I had to put a flang where the header conects to the exaust cuz it was leaking and i thought that was where the noise was comin from but its still makin the noise.
it sounds like the belt is breaking
If your Gas tank is not empty, you may have a problem with your starter.
Check the idler pully.
press the gas all the way down when stopped if that dose not work press gas down hard for a while and press the brake hard (watch out you might flip!).
u gotta use the clutch m8
Go over the dealership estimate to get a place to start looking for the noise. The noise could be a bad front axle, brakes, wheel bearing, motor mounts, the list goes on.
Have your mechanic check the rear bearings for the grinding noise. If the noise is like a rumble strip then the torque converter may be bad. Mark VIII are know for bad torque converters.
It could be a couple different things. Most obvious would be brakes. If a brake is sticking and worn you could be hearing a grinding noise as you accelerate. Second could be a driveline issue. Worn u-joints or something sticking in the transfercase (4X4) could also cause a grinding noise. Best advise is to find a reputable service shop and have them diagnose the noise properly. Good luck!
Sounds like bad wheel bearings Also check transmission output shaft bearing and u joints
Sparkplug sounds like is too long . Check to see if its the right plug.
Check the heat shield.
