To install fog lights on a 2004 Toyota Solara, first, ensure you have the correct fog light kit for your model. Begin by removing the front bumper to access the fog light housing areas. Install the fog lights into the designated slots, securing them with screws, and connect the wiring harness according to the kit instructions. Finally, reattach the bumper and test the fog lights to ensure they function properly.
In a 2004 Toyota Solara, warning lights on the dashboard indicate issues that require attention. Common warning lights include the check engine light, oil pressure warning, battery warning, and brake system warning. If any of these lights illuminate, it's important to investigate the underlying issue promptly to avoid potential damage to the vehicle. Consulting the owner's manual can provide specific information about each warning light and recommended actions.
Day time running lights?
You must remove the under car apron under front bumper then lift down and access bulbs from behind fog lights
If the Explorer is running engaging the parking brake is supposed to turn the daytime running lights off , otherwise the daytime running lights are supposed to shut off when the engine is shut off . I have a 2004, Eddie Bauer Explorer. On the light switch itself, there is a selection to turn on or off the day lights, as well as the extended, courtesy lights after ignition is turned off.
The tail light diagram for the 2004 Ford F-150 typically includes connections for the brake lights, turn signals, reverse lights, and running lights. The left and right tail lights each have separate circuits for these functions, with the left side usually involving a yellow wire for the turn signal and a brown wire for the running light, while the right side uses a green wire for the turn signal and a brown wire for the running light. For detailed wiring specifics and colors, it's best to consult a repair manual or wiring diagram specific to the vehicle.

There is a fuse for these lights. I would highly recommend not doing this as it is illegal.

To turn on the running lights on a 2004 GMC, simply ensure that the vehicle is in the "On" or "Run" position. Then, pull the headlight switch knob located on the dashboard toward you until it clicks, which activates the running lights. Make sure the vehicle's parking brake is released, as some models may require this for the running lights to function. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific instructions related to your model.
In the older model Tundras, the running lights are the headlights, not the parking lights. If you open the hood, and look right behind the left headlight, there should be a grey wire with a bulky connector. It should be located right between the battery and the side wall of the truck. Simply disconnect the grey wire and the running lights should come on. You could buy a new daytime running light relay that just loops the circuit back to itself, but this works just the same.
