Also, consider whether or not you have the AC turned on.
Probably either the relay sticking or a bad (or unplugged) engine coolant temperature sensor.
you havent taken the key out of the ignition.
Have vehicle scanned to see if any codes are present
Replay in lamp control module sticks closed causing lights to stay on gm posted tech service bulletin for problem.
Is there a reset button for the fuel pump somewhere and if so, where is it?
The check engine light on the 1998 Buick Park Avenue can be reset by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. The check engine light is only going to stay off if the problem that created the light is fixed.
You should have the codes read to see whats wrong.
try checking your gas cap it may need replacing
its missing 4 cylinders sir!
There is a switch called the "twilight sentinel". That alllows you to adjust the time that the lights will stay on after you turn the engine off. Check to see if that is working properly.
Because you did not have a faulty EGR valve. You misdiagnosed the problem. Start over and remember the code only tells you what part is being effected not necessarily the defective part. This is assuming you reset the light or drove the car enough cycles for the light to reset. If not then reset the light and see if it comes back on.
Problem with the anti-lock brake system. My light is also on, I don't think that it affects the braking system. It does not affect my car passing inspection so I don't worry about it. It probably needs to be turned off by a mechanic or by whom ever knows how to do it each time the brake system is worked on, if your are still concerned ask a mechanic about it, bye.
If you mean it stays on and does not blink then check the other turn signal bulbs on the right side front/back. If it blinks but does not turn off when you make a turn then the problem is in the steering column canceler.
