To reset the airbag light in a 2007 Chevy Cobalt, first, ensure that the vehicle's ignition is off. Then, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine, and within five seconds, press and hold the gas pedal for about 10 seconds. To reset the engine light in a 2008 Chevy Cobalt, you can disconnect the battery by removing the negative terminal for about 15 minutes and then reconnecting it. Alternatively, you can use an OBD-II scanner to clear the trouble codes that triggered the light. If the underlying issue is not resolved, the light may turn back on, so it's important to diagnose and fix any problems first. Always ensure the vehicle is off before working on the battery.
