A new battery is not a "cure all" for automotive problems.
A battery is simply an electrical storage device that provides electrical energy for the NEXT time you need to start the engine.
But to start the engine everything has to work in coordination:
The engine must have adequate compression
There must be a strong spark, timed properly to the position of the crankshaft
There must be the proper amount of fuel delivered to the cylinders as the engine crankshaft is turned by the starter motor.
The starter motor must be capable of turning the motor at an adequate speed to build the necessary compression.
If the starter is not engaging, you need to find out why, is it the starter? keyswitch? neutral safety switch? wiring???
If you don't have compression... why? Is it a valve problem? camshaft timing? damaged/worn pistons???
If you don't have fuel why? is it a fuel pump problem? fuel pressure regulator? injector activation?
if you don't have adequate spark... why? is it the coil? a sensor? distributor???
There are plenty of questions that have to be asked before you blame the battery, and you need to understand what's wrong before you can repair it. Never "throw parts" at a problem in hopes that you'll eventually find out what happened.
It should start with new battery but your battery will go dead fast.
In most cases a new battery will be charged enough to start the vehicle
You can get a new battery, you can jump start the car with jumper cables and another car with a charged battery. You can also put a battery charger on your battery to give it a charge.
Have a gem electric car, model E825 with new batteries but it will not start.
Does it crank over fine?
it needed a new battery duhh
Go get a new battery using another car. Or get the dead car jump started using another vehicle. There are companies that have mobile battery services that will come right to your home or wherever the car is located and replace the battery.
Somthings wrong with the engine.
Are your battery cable connections clean and tight ?
jump start the car and get a new battery and if it isn't the battery it could be the alternator or both, but try a new battery first
If your battery is dead then you are going nowhere therefore why would you need to take the car out of park? Get a jump start from another car with a good battery and then you can start your car and drive to the nearest battery dealer and buy a new battery if need be. Otherwise just put a battery charger on your battery and let it fully charge.
When you say it won't start I am assuming you mean it will not turn over. If that is the case and the battery is new, then something is pulling power from the battery. You have a light somewhere that is on or you have a relay that is stuck.
