The headlights could have bad bulbs or a bad fuse; the two sets of lights are on different circuits.
check the fuses - there is no fuse for the headlights.
turn on your headlights
To turn on dashboard lights, locate the dashboard light dimmer control, usually found on the headlight switch or as a separate knob or dial. Rotate or press this control to adjust the brightness of the dashboard lights. If your vehicle has an automatic setting, ensure that the headlights are turned on, as dashboard lights may only illuminate with the headlights activated. If the lights still do not work, check the vehicle’s fuse for the dashboard lighting circuit.
Yes. When you turn on the lights there is a circuit for the headlights, one for the dashboard lights and a third for the clearance and taillights. Any one of those circuits can fail independantly of the others.
Turn on headlights/parking lights and adjust dimmer control
If you turn up your interior dashboard light settings, then the radio display will be brighter too. The radio dims to the setting for the dashboard when the lights are turned on.
Because it is British.
dimmer switch below light controls is turned down? i have an 05 and that happens when the dial has been moved. hope that helps
Check the fuse for the headlights. It is probably open.
its probably something to do with the wiring system
Check headlights and dashboard lights first. If no/minimal power for the lights then replace battery.
Sounds like a blown fuse in the dash, no biggie, just take it in and it should be a quick fix Wiring harness has come loose, blown bulbs, or bad wire.
