Any number of reasons, the most likely being,
Fuel Pump Fuse, Relay, Open Circuit, Broken Wire.
Or even ECU fault
what does it do? see discussion board there is no power to the fuel pump i just changed the fuel pump and power is going to it there no power going to the coils why is that
well if you have fuel and a new filter a good fuel pump relay and the wires going to the fuel pump have power and no fuel pressure you need a fuel pump
Hard starting Loss of power due to fuel starvation Noise coming from pump area
The fuel pump inertia switch is a MECHANICAL switch that " breaks " the electrical circuit to the electric fuel pump so that no power is going to the electric fuel pump
check fuel cut off switch make sure its not triggered. check fuel pressure if none see if u hear fuel pump going on if not check for blowen fuse, check for power at fuel pump if u have power at fuel pump replace fuel pump. also make sure ur fuel filter is not plugged it sounds like a fuel pump to me. you will have to drop the fuel tank to replace pump.
check your fuses if all good check to see if there is power going to the fuel pump if so then replace the pump
( IN ) if the button has popped up / out then no power is going to the electric fuel pump
If you are getting no power then the fuse is blown or the relay is defective.
Check the fuel pump relay and the ecc relay either or both may be bad
The fuel relay controls the fuel pump, so where are the bare wires? If the relay isn't getting any power then the fuel pump will never turn on, unless you want to bypass it to check the pump. If the bare wires are going to your fuel pump relay you have your problem... if not, either way, bare wires are a problem.
Yes , if the button on top of the fuel pump inertia switch ( shut off switch ) has popped UP , then no power is going to the electric fuel pump
what is the cause of no power at the fuel pump
