If your Trailblazer is leaking antifreeze from the back end, it could be due to a faulty water pump, a damaged or loose hose, or a problem with the heater core. Another possibility is a leaking gasket or seal in the engine or transmission area. It's important to inspect the cooling system for any visible signs of leakage and to check for any wet spots or coolant stains. If the issue persists, consider consulting a mechanic for a thorough diagnosis.
If the antifreeze is leaking out the exhust system, I.E. you are experiancing white smoke, you either have a leaking head gasket or a warped head. I can't see any other areas where there would be antifreeze at the rear end of any explorer model.

Antifreeze on the electrode end of the plug may mean a blown head gasket. Antifreeze on the upper portion of the plug that fills the plug well may be caused by a leaking heater hose. It's probably leaking from a bad intake manifold gasket. You could be leaking from the heater hose that comes out of the firewall very close to the manifold. They sometimes leak there and drip down on the manifold. If it drips on a coil, it can eventually ruin the coil. It happened to me.
remove some of your antifreeze, disconnect fitting at end of top radiator hose, remove thermostat and scrap off gasket and clean both surfaces, check new thermostat in 180 degrees water to make sure it opens and closes, then put your gasket sealent on both surfaces and your thermostat on the same way it came off and bolt it back on and add more antifreeze and crank it and make sure its not leaking.

My Saturn is leaking, more like pouring, antifreeze out of a head gasket and I don't have the money to fix it. I have to get to school though which is a short drive. So basically I'm traveling 10 min with no antifreeze and my car is holding up pretty good for now. It's not a good idea and will overheat very quickly without it but I would say you can if you don't drive very far. The antifreeze will lubricate your water pump and keep your engine from freezing in the winter and overheating in the summer. You can use water instead of antifreeze in warm climates but that will end up oxidizing all the metal components (like the radiator).

To fix a leaking hose end, you can try tightening the connection, replacing the washer, or using a hose repair kit. If these methods don't work, you may need to replace the hose end altogether.
