'cause hot air always goes up so ventilators and exhaust fans are built near the ceiling to let out hot air and bring cool air.
warmed air (hot air) always goes upward as it's property.so people are working at floor level who uses air and this used up air is warm so it will goes up.and that's why VENTILATORS ARE PROVIDED AT CEILING LEVEL.Read more: Why_rooms_are_provided_with_ventilators_near_the_ceiling
Ventilators are typically placed near the ceiling because hot air rises, so they can effectively circulate and distribute air throughout the room. Placing them near the ground would not be as efficient in terms of air circulation and distribution.
That way they catch all the hot air and vapour before pumping it out to a vent on the roof
ventilators are provided in the rooms just below the roofs because when the air inside the room gets hot this warm air rises up... and flow through these ventilators and thus cool air remains at bottom......so this is how ventilators make us relieve in hot summers ,i hope i made u satisfy by my answer :) answered by:Pari kohli ;)

1. To avoid too strong air currents near the body. 2. To avoid accidents by hitting the fan blades.
the ticking noise is a small exhaust leak close to the exhaust headers or exhaust pipe near the engine.
probably an exhaust leak, at or near the exhaust manifold
Cooking odors are usually found in the warmer air around stoves and ovens. This air typically rises to the ceiling. Most exhaust fans are either directly above the stove or in the ceiling above the cooking surfaces. Exhaust fans are more efficient at removing cooking odors than recirculating fans (which use charcoal filters).
