driver seat and power mirrors is not working...what to check for??
I have the same problem on a 2000 ML320. The power passenger seat stopped moving and the fuse/relay panel has nothing labled as power seats.
car seat wont move forward. First examine under the seat for stuff that doesn't belong under there that could be jambing up the works. If all is clear, you may have to unbolt the seat, remove the seat from the car then turn the seat up side down to determine the cause.
is it electric or manual
the driver seat comes down after some time even i raised high
Move down? Yes, there is a level on the left side of the seat that you need to pump down to lower the seat and pump up to raise it.
Check fuses
There are two levers under the driver's seat of the 1992 Cabriolet. One lever moves the seat back and forth and the other offers a tilt option.
there are 4 points holding the seat into the frame. i believe they are 10-14mm. just move seat forward to get the 2 rear bolts, then move it back to get to the 2 front ones. dont forget to disconnect the harness from the seat before you try to move the seat away from car.
It may be your springs in your seat is warn down.
If your driver seat won't move up all the way, it could be due to a few reasons. There might be an obstruction under the seat, such as debris or a malfunctioning component. Additionally, the seat adjustment mechanism or motor could be malfunctioning or damaged. Checking for any physical blockages and ensuring the seat's electrical connections are secure can help diagnose the issue.
To manually move the driver's seat on a Mercedes-Benz C320, locate the manual adjustment lever or knob typically found on the side of the seat. Pull the lever or turn the knob to slide the seat forward or backward. For adjusting the seat height or backrest angle, you may need to use separate levers or knobs, depending on the seat's configuration. Always ensure the seat is locked in place after making adjustments for safety.
