Like most cars with no "spark" it can be caused by faulty/old cables. Replacing them would be a quick and cheap solution if in fact they are the cause.
check to see that the plugs are screwed in firmly (don't crack one off though!!!) then check the order of the wires, I'm guessing the firing order is wrong somehow or the gap on the spark plugs may be too small/narrow where not enough force is created to ignite fuel
If it's a 6 cylinder , 6 , if 8 cylinder , which I think Buick does not make in that model , it would be 8 .
how much does the resonator in the buick regal 99 cost
The 1985 Buick Regal did not offer the 305 V8 as an option that year.
the engine is constantly vibrating and it dislodges the spark plugs
I had the same problem with my 98 buick regal gs and it turned out to be the ignition switch.
fuel filter clogged, spark plugs, or wires old or wires toutching
i would recommend eBay
I would recommend the OEM spark plugs, AC/Delco. Excellent plugs.
There would be six spark plugs for a six cylinder engine. One for each cylinder. Unless it is a diesel, then there are no spark plugs.
They had 2 engines available, a 2.4L 4 cylinder which would have 4 spark plugs and a 3.4L V-6 with 6 spark plugs.
Depends on the type of spark plugs. Factory plugs around 70 - 100k depending on the condition of the plugs. I would replace the spark plugs out with some AC Delco iridium plugs they will last you 100k+.
