A car fuse can blow for several reasons, primarily due to an electrical overload, which occurs when too much current flows through the circuit. This can happen if there is a short circuit, damaged wiring, or a malfunctioning component. Additionally, if aftermarket electrical devices are added without proper ratings or installation, they can also lead to blown fuses. Essentially, fuses act as safety devices to protect the vehicle's electrical system from damage.
The starter is failing.
You have bad ground in the switch
What would cause your fuse to blow when you turn on your lights on your 1993 mazda 323 the fuse to the tail lights on dash lights blow?
Have the alterntor and voltage regulator checked.
Door locks are protected by circuit breakers. A surge of power to a fuse would cause it to blow. They are located in the fuse panel.
just replace it and make sure you undo whatever you did to blow it.
Intermittant short?
Only when they blow. They don't wear out, they only blow when there is a short in that circuit.
Because if you reversed the polarity at the battery it would blow the fuse through which current flows to the drain.
AnswerThat is Electronic Control Unit, the computer. If you blow or remove the ECU fuse the car will not run.
there is probably something wrong with your fuse box or dashboard electronics i would take the car to an auto electrician and ask the to take a look at it
as close to the battery as possible, that way if the power cable shorts on the frame somewhere, it will blow the fuse, if it was near the amp, it would not blow the fuse, and the cable could possibly start burning!!!!
