Then unplug the module from the crankshaft position sensor and remove the module from the vehicle. Reverse the procedure to reinstall. If your vehicle has the V6 2.8L engine: Raise the car and put on stands as necessary. The ignition module is bolted to the block below the exhaust manifold on the radiator side of the engine. Unplug the electrical connections. Mark the spark plug wires so you know where to put them back and unplug them. Next remove the bolts that hold the module in place and remove it. Reverse the procedure to reinstall.
