The crankshaft position sensor has nothing to do with the fuel pump but a defective fuel pump relay and fuel pump fuse will and also a missing ground circuit will cause it not to run
Out of gas, failed fuel pump, alternator, timing belt, crank sensor, cam sensor, computer, etc.Out of gas, failed fuel pump, alternator, timing belt, crank sensor, cam sensor, computer, etc.
No.
fuel pump or crank sensor
there is no fire going to my fuel pump why is this I changed the main fuel pump relay
fuel pump or crank sensor
this can be cause by the crank position sensor if the fuel pump is running well then the only thing that cold cause the problem is crank position sensor
the fuel pump or crank sensor
No but, if the crank sensor goes bad you lose the fuel pump and spark.
yes If the ecm does not see rpm from senor it will not turn fuel pump on,you will only hear pump cycle during key on before crank ,but no fuel pump heard after crank tech14444
The year, make, model and engine would help but, in most cases the crank sensor tells the ECM (Engine Control Module) the engine has rpms so the ECM keeps the fuel pump running. Some engines use the oil pressure switch to keep the fuel pump running.
Ran out of gas, failed alternator, crank sensor, cam sensor, PCM, timing belt, ignition coil, fuel pump, broken wiring,
Check your crank shaft sensor first.
