No. You have to check what they call (head) but generally the higher the GPH the higher the head. A 600 GPH will only pump to a 6ft. height so as a rule you should use at least an 900 GPH pump for an 8ft. head. Of course it will not produce 900 gallons per hour at that height, it should do about half or a little less. good luck.

Tall enough.

Why doesn't the atmospheric pressure break windows?

This is because the pressure will be the same on both sides. It will not break since the pressure is even throughout.

Would we be crushed by Jupiter's pressure?

Pressure in Jupiter is thought to be as high as 5,000GPa. On earth, typical air pressure is around 100kPa. So, if you fell deep enough into Jupiter you would definitely be crushed. However, the intense radiation in Jupiter would have already killed you long before you reached Jupiter's atmosphere.

What range do cheap two way radios have?

The cheaper two way radios typically have a range of 100m - 150m which is more than enough to support the distance of the typical house so children can play.

What is the formula for distance of a circle?

Not enough information. Distance from where to the circle?

How do you find vertical velocity and vertical distance?

The answer will depend on the conditions under which the body is moving and how sophisticated your calculations need to be. On (or near) the surface of the earth, if the body had velocity v0 ms-1 at time t0 seconds then in the simple model, its velocity at time t seconds will be v = v0 - 9.81*t ms-1 (approx). The vertical distance will be v0t - 9.81t2 metres. In a more sophisticated model you would include air resistance. Also if v0 is large, it is possible that the height attained is large enough to affect deceleration due to gravity.

How do you make a windmill?

A simple windmill consists of a vertical post with two rotating hubs - one vertical, one horizontal - attached at the top. Each hub is attached to the other, allowing the windmill to rotate horizontally and point into the wind. The vertical hub has slats attached radially to it, each one at a slight angle. As the wind passes over the slats, the Bernoulli principle (high pressure/low pressure) causes the vertical hub to rotate. By itself, a windmill is just decorative, but if big enough, it can be used to rotate grist stones in mills, run pumps, etc.

If the Moon's average distance to the sun us approximately the same as earth's why doesn't the moon have an ocean?

The moon doesn't have an ocean because for a liquid to exist it needs air pressure, the moons atmosphere is almost non existent, so there is not enough pressure to sustain any fluid.

Explain one of the reasons why a person changing quickly from a horizontal to vertical position temporarily may feel dizzy?

The reason has to do with how blood flows through the body, and blood pressure. When lying down, blood pressure to the brain is fairly low, since there is less pressure required to pump blood to the brain in a horizontal body - it's not fighting gravity as the entire body is on the same level plane. However, when a person stands up too quickly, the body doesn't have enough time to react to the rapid increase in gravity that short distance causes, and therefore doesn't have enough time to increase blood pressure flow to the brain. So the reason a person can feel dizzy is that when they stand up, there isn't enough blood flow to the brain yet - it takes a couple of seconds for the heart to catch up. It can also happen even if a person is just stiting down and stands up.

What happens when you have a bad air conditioner compressor?

A Typical Air Compressor used in an air conditioning system is used to compress the vapor refrigerant to a higher pressure. If your compressor is not good enough to compress to the required pressure then your air con. will not provide a good cooling effect. P.S. : The temperature when changed on the main panel will directly change the pressure of your compressor which will affect the room temperature.
