Try a band wrench.
If that doesn't do it, then make sure you have a replacement filter and oil. Take a BIG screwdriver and stab it all the way through the filter. Using this as a lever, you should be able to unscrew the filter. If this isn't enough, then get a pipe and put the pipe over the screwdriver, and use it to unscrew the filter. This WILL do the trick.
Go to wal mart and buy a Fram Oil Filter Wrench......lol......i know it sounds dumb but that's the only way i got mine off
take the filter off then unscrew the bolt at the oil filter housing
So you remove it and replace with a new one - this is not a high tech task.
Its part of that companies part Number System and means "Oil Filter" and I have no idea how the got from oil to pH.
raise front off car, filter is left of starter on 3.1,get a oil filter wrench to take off.
You can unscrew your stuck oil filter with an oil filter wrench. If the oil filter wrench does not work, punch a metal rod through the oil filter. Turn the oil filter off with the metal rod.
Change your oil/filter and reset the light.

you drop the bottom fairing, exposing oil filter, using oil filter strap or pliers take off the old filter. wipe clean oil filter housing, lube gasket on new filter with new oil, spin on new filter, and tighten.

With a oil filter wrench, see your auto supply store for the correct size They are a real pain, I've got one and a worse place would be hard to find. With a wrench that goes on the end like a socket or a pair of oil filter pliers. The filter drains on the axle and there is no way around that. You have to do it from under the car.
absoutley, this is expected.... if there isn't any oil in an oil filter that was just pulled off a car - then there is a serious issue with your car
