Start the engine and turn the steering wheel from stop to stop. As you turn the steering wheel from extreme left to extreme right this will remove the air from the system. You may have to repeat this a few times to remove all the air.
The wires through the steering column and the rotating connections probably have a break or a bad connection. the steering wheel may have to be pulled to find the cause.
It sounds as if your vehicle might have suffered some serious damage when you hit the curb, especially since you hit the right tire but the vehicle pulls to the left. The fact that your vehicle shakes when braking means it may be unsafe to drive. It is possible that the brakes could fail completely when you need them the most. Have your vehicle inspected and repaired by a qualified mechanic immediately. After that, stop hitting curbs.

When you stop and feel a pulsation in the front wheels which you will feel in the steering wheel, this is a sign you have a wrapped rotor. But you mention it is worse when you turn on the A/C which would indicate your idle control motor may be bad. This increases the idle when the engine is loaded, as in the A/C on.
Make sure pump has enough fluid. Then in a slow steady fashion turn the steering wheel left to right going from steering stop to steering stop 5 or 6 times
The Vehicle shakes because of the virbration produced by the engine at the stop sing
