She sure is- historically, the youngest Czarevna ( Crown Princess) of the family of Czar Nicholas II ( Romanov dynasty) quite properly she is Her Imperial Highness Anastasia Nicholaievna ( Anastasia, Daughter of Nicolai) Calling her Anastasia Romanov is in a sense as bad form as referring to Queen Elizabeth II as ( Betty Windsor). show some respect. properly she was Her Grace prior to age l8, after that Her Highness, Special agent Dimitri- as well he should, got the royal titles angles- Right, no pun intended!In the early part of the picture ( while she is still a child), she is addressed as Your Grace, ( a regular Duchess bears this title, by the way) later- of course, Your Highness. and so it goes. I believe she survived the Revolution- and was a powerful cause celebre in the Diaspora period- inspiring many songs ( I hear you knocking, makes comic fun of her DP ( displaced person) status but acknowledges her reality- the song does not mention her actual nationality ( you better get back to where you used to be ( CCCP) cause your kind of love isn:t good for me!
