A Midsummer Night's Dream is one of Shakespeare's more popular comedies. It may in fact be his most popular comedy. However it is hard to say how much as there is no Richter scale of popularity.

Theseus and Hippolyta. Their nuptual hour draws on apace, or so we are told.
Romeo and Juliet is in a similar style to A Midsummer Night's Dream so it is likely that they were written at about the same time.
There are not really any Baddies in Midsummer Night's Dream. The father who is trying to force his daughter into marrying a man whom she does not love comes closest, but he is not so much a comic villain as an overly-controlling parent.
Do you mean what they're called? If so they are called eventide fairies. Their names are Peaseblossom, Cobweb, Moth and Mustardseed.
To make sure not to scare the ladies & so that they know the real him :)
The most famous musical composition associated with A Midsummer Night's Dream was composed by Felix Mendelssohn. It is not, however, a "version" of the play, but rather incidental music meant to accompany a performance. Think of it as the "soundtrack" to the play (it was so used in the 1935 film of the play, and partially again in the 1999 film). There are a number of pieces in the suite, but the one absolutely everyone knows is the Wedding March, which is played at many weddings.
he thinks he is a silly man, and is not traeted right by his family, so they care for him and think he is an un intellegent man... hope that helps
The fairies add the possibility of events outside the normal range of possibility: men turning into donkeys, people suddenly falling in and out of love and so on.
It does take place throughout mid-summer, but Midsummer Night's Eve is when all the fairies are believed to come out and "play". Playing tricks on people walking through the woods, some haunting passing travelers, a night for them to have fun. So it is based then so the use of the fairies can be used with no questioning in that time.
