I worked on this problem for a while and replaced a lot of parts. After racking my brain and getting pissed it turned out to be the coil located in the destibuter cap. My car stalled and missed really bad but sometimes it would clear up. Now after replacing a $40 part I have no issues. The fix only took about 20 minutes. I hope this helps.
Why engine stalls on 1993 Chrysler Intrepid while driving and sometimes at stops?
That usually points to something heat-related common causes are a failing fuel pump, crankshaft sensor, ignition coil, or even vapor lock. These parts can work fine when cold but start failing once the engine warms up. I had a similar issue and got it checked at Bergman’s Auto Repair they took the time to test it properly after warming up the car and found the exact cause instead of guessing. Definitely worth diagnosing early, because problems like this tend to get worse and leave you stranded.
One reason that a 2000 GMC Jimmy engine stalls while driving could be your filter needing to be changed. The problem could also be a bad sensor.
If your 1994 Pontiac Trans Am randomly stalls out while driving, you may have clogged fuel injectors or a bad distributor. Check the distributor first, as this is the easiest to replace.
Not a question. Operator error.
