The solder is prone to failure on the circuit boards and or relays causing false readings or no connection. Usually these occur during hot weather. Resoldering is the cure if this is the case. Safe to continue driving if light goes out after restart though. Don"t drive if light stays on after restart until oil pressure is verified/
