I have a 1990 Buick Century 3300. Just replace the Fuel Pressure Regulator. It was leaking gas. Replace the vacum lines to the Fuel Pressure Regulator but I still smell gas inside on the driver's side compartment. The smell goes away when opening the windows. Where would there be a fuel leak that would cause the raw gas smell inside the car but not outside of the car?
yes just had this problem the lines were rubbing on the frame causing a wear and a hole. now leaking fuel and smells horrible
NO the transmission fluid will cause the seals in the pump to leak
depends where the leak is, and how bad it is.
Engine will run lean. It will idle rough, have less power, & use more fuel.
Where is the leak from? The fuel filler? The fuel tank? A fuel line? Does the leak occur only when the engine is running? Does the leak only occur when the vehicle is parked on an inclined surface?
Pressure test system and watch for leak
There is a fair amount of fuel that will leak when changing the filter.
A vapor leak in the fuel system.A vapor leak in the fuel system.
Could be a vacuum leak. Check the PCV pipe and replace any air hoses.
There are several things that can cause your fuel tank to leak. The most common cause is a hole in the fuel tank. A loose fuel line can cause the fuel tank to leak.
Depends on where the leak is.
Nahal Zin fuel leak happened in 2011.
