Yes
Yes, freon can indeed cause corrosion. Freon leaks in vehicles can corrode surrounding parts and components in the car over time.
No, two separate systems.
where do u put freon in a smart cAR 2009
Freon is odorless; you cannot smell it.
The freon either needs to be charged which can be done at a local repair shop about $50 - $85 or the the A/C compressor which can cost upwards of $500. Also check for simple leaks or stains under your car from where freon may be leaking out over time.
Freon cooler is leaking from A/C system.
depemds on the car as how much freon it will hold. some cars have a tag saying how much freon the car is filled with. Too much freon is just as bad as not enough freon.
No
my car a/c smells like freon? Type your answer here...
The only freon available is R134a. Your car most like came with R12. That means it will have to have the system evacuated at a shop, and then be converted to the R134a. Look at the fittings where the freon is to be introduced to the system....if they are screw on, then your car needs to be changed over to the newer refrigerant....if they are quick connects, you simply need to add R134a.
Car tires lose pressure when not driven because of natural air leakage through the rubber and valve components of the tire. This can happen over time due to temperature changes and the permeability of the tire materials.
Impounding your car will certainly be the least of your problems, as you are fined and can be arrested, lose your license over a significant period of time, etc. But yes, your car can be impounded.
