Turn on your headlights and try to start the car. If they don't come on at all or go out when you turn the key, you probably need your battery recharged or replaced. If they don't dim at all, you should check your starter relay and ignition switch. If your lights dim about halfway but the engine is not turning over, check your battery cables, connections, and starter.

Some years you can, some you can't.

The distributor is synched or zeroed with the scan tool. It can not be done with a timing light.
