Go to "Pelicanparts.com. Form here you can download the entire schematic for your car.
How is the belt position on the front 48" deck on a JD F525
it should be in your hood if not go to your local parts store they should be able to download it
It helps to have a schematic in changing the traction drive belt on a x300 John Deere. Making the area accessible can be tricky. Once it has been revealed, it can be accomplished simply.
Got mine at an auto parts store. Just ask them for a print out
To install the belt for John Deere, first get his permission. Once one has hi permission, select a belt for him. Once the belt is selected, proceed and wear the belt for him.
There is a belt routing schematic on the radiator core support.
Pry the tensioner up to remove the tension on the belt. The schematic should be on the fan shroud. If not draw a schematic before removing the belt. Don't rely on memory.
go to a napa store they have these diagrams in their belt book
use a wreench on the bolt for the tensioner pulley and take the belt off and tehn thread the belt back on using the schematic on the fan shroud. If theree isn't one, draw a schematic BEFORE you remove the old belt.
The schematic should be on the fan shroud. If not find a like car and draw a schematic. If the belt came off by itself, there may be something out of line and you may have to take it to a garage.
Hey Christy==There should be a schematic on the fan shroud showing the routing of the belt. If not, go to a used car lot and find a car with a like engine and draw you a schematic. The idler simplly lifts and holds preasure on the belt. Goodluck, Joe
