To adjust the parking brake on an E250 van, first, ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface and the wheels are chocked. Locate the parking brake adjustment mechanism, typically found under the vehicle or near the rear brakes. Use a wrench or ratchet to turn the adjustment nut until the brake engages at the desired tension, ensuring the brake holds the vehicle securely without excessive force. Finally, test the parking brake by applying it and trying to move the van to confirm proper adjustment.
