Under hood in front of the driver is a black cap that if unscrewed to allows a store bought can of freon (with 134A connector) to easily snap onto fitting. When A/C is activated the freon is added. Some store bought cans include a gauge which may read around 38 to 41 PSI when the system is nearly full. A special computer chassis scan tool may be needed to first activate the compressor due to a complex temperature/climate design that also sometimes tries to protect the A/C system/compressor from unwanted damage when low oil/freon levels might be detected.

It contains no Freon. It contains R134a refrigerant and you add it to the low pressure port which is the larger pipe.
To add coolant in a Mercedes C240, first, ensure the engine is cool to avoid burns. Open the hood and locate the coolant reservoir, typically marked with a cap labeled "Coolant." Remove the cap and add the appropriate type of coolant mixed with water (if necessary) until it reaches the recommended level indicated on the reservoir. Finally, securely replace the cap and check for any leaks before closing the hood.
You add coolant to a C240 at the radiator overflow tank. This allows the radiator to suck in coolant as needed when hot.
Use a freon gauge and freon refill can. Connect the gauge to the low pressure ac port of the 2003 Stratus. With the engine running and ac on high, fill the system until the gauge shows full.
You do not put Transmission fluid in any Mercedes. They are lubed with a life long synthetic that only a dealership can get. If you add fluid the transmission will last less than 10,000 more miles.
