To change the CV joint on a 1991 Geo Prism, first, safely lift the vehicle and remove the wheel. Then, detach the axle nut and any components obstructing the axle, such as the brake caliper and rotor. Carefully pull the axle out of the transmission and separate the CV joint from the axle shaft. Replace the CV joint with a new one, reassemble the parts in reverse order, and ensure everything is securely fastened before lowering the vehicle.
