Its a very long and complicated process to do this and its best that you get a complete repair manual and also if you have never done this before then its really best that you do not attempt this..........
The heater case assembly must be removed to remove the heater core on all 3-Series vehicles.Drain the cooling system into a clean container for reuse.
Discharge and recover the air conditioning system refrigerant.
Remove or disconnect the following.....
When removing the steering wheel on airbag equipped vehicles, use extreme caution handling the airbag assembly. Store the airbag with the airbag facing up, to avid injury in case of accidental deployment.
Remove the heater bulkhead from the engine compartment.
Release hose clamps and detach the water hoses.
Release heater case screws on the firewall.how hard is it to replace a heater core on a 87 325e BMW 2 dr? thank you in advance.
From 375 to 325 represents a change of approximately -13.33%

15.38%% change =|original value - new value|/original value * 100%= |325 - 375|/325 * 100%= 50/325 * 100%= 0.1538* 100%= 15.38% (increase)

325% = [(3.25)/(1)] x 100
325% = 3.25 = 3 25/100 = 3 1/4
38.4615% increase.
325/1000 = 13/40
Watts = Current x Volts with your resistive heat application. To figure out resistance you need to know voltage and current. Since you are drawing 6 amps then Volts = 325/6. This means that there is about 54 volts supplying the heater which seems like a very strange supply voltage. Since Volts = Current x Resistance the resistance = 325/36.
