To change the instrument panel warning bulbs on a Porsche Boxster, first disconnect the car battery to ensure safety. Remove the instrument panel by unscrewing the screws that secure it and gently pulling it out. Locate the burned-out bulb sockets at the back of the panel, twist them counterclockwise to remove, and replace the old bulbs with new ones. Finally, reassemble the panel, reconnect the battery, and test the new bulbs to ensure they work properly.

Have a look at the following URL attached. It is complete and very easy to follow. http://www.bombaydigital.com/boxster/projects/headlamp/ My husband and I took our boxster to a local repair shop. They wanted to charge us $800 to replace the light. Told us the entire light assembly had to be replaced to change the bulb. I told my husband not to do it that I would look on eBay for the part. Thankfully, I did a web query and asked how to change a lightbulb in a Porsche boxster and found this site. I'm totally stunned that my local repair shop wanted to gouge us so much.
To change the gear shift knob on a 1999 Porsche Boxster, first, ensure the car is in neutral and the ignition is off. Remove the plastic trim surrounding the gear shift by gently prying it up, being careful not to damage it. Next, unscrew the old gear shift knob by turning it counterclockwise; it may require some force. Finally, screw the new knob in place by turning it clockwise and reattach the trim.

I assume you mean a turn signal indicator on the instrument panel. Remove the instrument cluster (procedure varies with different vehicles). The bulbs for all the warning and indicator lights, as well as for instrument illumination, are typically in twist-out holders mounted on the back side of the cluster.
