if its a new model.....with great difficulty remove the cowelling around the steering wheel, both above and below. remove the connectors. now you have two options... 1. get a hammer and chisel and remove the sheer bolts holding the entire barrell and switch(x2) (the head of these bolts snap off when tightened) remove the unit, and then remove the switch from the barrell 2. remove the switch in place from the end of the barrell(2 screws) this is very awkward but saves you buying some new sheer bolts when you refit the
