on top of transmission case near gear shift, there will be a square headed bolt. remove this and you will be able to check transmission oil. to check hydraulic fuid, u need to gind the fluid resevoir. remove cap and use a stick to dip in and see how much fluid is in it I can only point you to a couple sources. If it is an automatic transmission then you would have to remove the transmission fuid pan and it is the first thing you will see in there. I would also recommend that you drain the fuid first... but I would also recommend that you take it to a trained professional to do. You need to keep the inner workings of your transmission clean.
Defective starter (brand new broke) Is in gear (try in neutral) Seized engine (can you turn it by hand? Does a new engine help?) Seized accessory (try removing belts) Hydraulic lock (fuid in cylinder, try removing spark plugs)
Try spraying a little starting fuid into the air breather then crank the engine. If the engine responds then it's a fuel problem. If not, check your spark plug and the fuse box under the hood and under the glove box. If that doesn't fix the problem check the relays. Also check your engine compression. If nothing works, take the car in to a profession mechanic.
