How do you hotwire a 93 Toyota pickup?

I changed the sparkplugs rotor distributor cup and spark plug wires but my ignition switch was broken so what i did i hot wired it ang installed a switch. It was working fine until i did the gune up it wont start. What could be the issue?

First remove ignition switch from dash then carefully cut all 6 wires from the ignition harness one at a time.

Then identify by color code (1) red and black stripe will be youre HOT WIRE.

Now the black and yellow striped will be your IGNITION ON .

You should hear a quick buzz and dash icons come on when you touch together. Keep a tight connection.

Now find the fuel pump wire it will be brown and white stripped , strip and connect all 3 wires.

Ok the black and white stripped wire will be the STARTER WIRE carefully touch to the 3 wires and engine will turn over . when car starts remove the black and white wire . Now to stop engine break up the 3 wires .

Repeat as needed to start car. FAMCO 64
