Cylinder heads are installed on a Chevy 454 big block engine by placing the gasket down on the engine block and positioning the heads over the marking tabs. The bolts are then installed and torqued to specs in sequence.

No, the Chevy 454 has a long stoke and requires a big block. However, it is possible to build a 454 small block using aftermarket parts. You'll need some high flowing heads to make it work.
The heads that came off a Chevy or Corvette typically refer to the cylinder heads of their V8 engines. Common sizes for these heads include 350, 383, and 454 cubic inches, depending on the specific engine model. For instance, the small-block Chevy 350 features small-block cylinder heads, while the big-block 454 has larger heads designed for increased performance. The exact specifications can vary depending on the year and model of the vehicle.

Were is the temperature heat sensoe on a 454 chevy motor.
what is the ignition timing for a 1988 Chevy 454 engine
If the 454 is complete with accessories such as exhaust manifolds, a/c, power steering, alternator, etc., it should be a pretty straightforward swap. Transfer the motor mounts and distributor from the 350. A new exhaust system will likely be needed.
i believe that any 454 bbc head will bolt up to any 454 Block. But some heads are beter then others. I would find out the specs of the head before installing.
You can't... There's not enough steel in the cylinders to bore it that far. If you want a 454, you need to by a big block 454 Chevy engine.
