I just did this today on my 2002 Liberty, so I will answer your question while it is fresh in my mind..... My right headlight went out a few days ago, so I have been driving with my brights on so I don't get pulled over for having only one light. I decided that I was going to replace the pair because I knew if I didn't I would be replacing it soon as these are the original headlight bulbs.
First I looked in the owners' manual to determine the headlight bulb (9007). I could see Sylvania on the edge of the bulb when I looked at the back of the headlight. I next shopped online to see prices and options and then went to Pep Boys where I planned to buy it if they were competitive. I decided that I wanted to buy the brighter version so I went with the Ultra version. They were sold out of the Ultra at Pep Boys so I went to Autozone where I found them for less money (a pair for $20).
Replacement was easier than expected and was as follows:
Look under the hood, behind the headlight. Turn the Grey plastic locking device slightly to unlock it from the headlight assembly. Hold the old headlight bulb at the base and wiggle it gently to remove it from the headlight assembly. Pull out on the plastic latch and gently wiggle the light bulb out of the socket. Using a rag or paper towel to prevent touching the new light bulb glass, gently plug it into the socket until the locking latch snaps in place. Holding the base, insert the bulb inside the headlight assembly and lock the Grey plastic locking device. Repeat this process with the other headlight. Turn on the headlights and confirm they are operational on low and high beams and you are finished....... Good Luck.
To replace the headlight relay on a 2002 Jeep Liberty, first locate the fuse box, which is typically found under the hood. Remove the cover and identify the headlight relay, usually labeled on the underside of the cover or in the owner's manual. Carefully pull out the old relay and insert the new one in the same slot. Finally, replace the fuse box cover and test the headlights to ensure proper functionality.

The 2002 Jeep Liberty rear wiper blade is unique to Jeep. You'll probably have to get the part at the dealer and may be able to ask for the install procedure.
To replace the driver side headlight on a 2004 Jeep Liberty, first, open the hood and locate the headlight assembly. Disconnect the power connector from the back of the headlight by pressing the tab and pulling it off. Remove the retaining clip or screws that hold the headlight in place, then pull the headlight assembly out. Insert the new headlight, secure it with the clip or screws, and reconnect the power connector before closing the hood.
