Remove the steering wheel, Then remove the turn signals section. This takes some special tools.
you turn it to the west
It's located under the dash in the pass. side floorpan. Remove the screws that hold up the trim plate, that will reveal the bottom of the motor, it is removed like a twist-lock, 1/4 turn and it should drop out.
change the Ignition Lock lock switch
When replacing the rear turn signal on a 1999 Acura Integra open the trunk. Locate the rear turn signal housings and find the bulbs. Remove and replace the bulbs.
check for shorts in the system
You cannot simply turn an EGR valve off. You can clean it, replace it, or remove it, but you cannot turn it off.
hazards and turn signals have separate flashers. replace flasher for turn signals
Most common cause of the turn signals not flashing is a defective flasher relay. Replace it.
Turn the ignition key on for 10 minutes and it will reset.
You have to remove it gently and go to auto zone and turn it in
I had this on an XC70 recently. (The key would turn to get the dashboard lights on, but that was it). The lock was broken and needed to be replaced. But the AA man did manage to force the key to work and this enabled me to use car for a few days awaiting the lock with the same code as before.
